Lost a couch spot to a droid.

This nutty little boy, with the hair and his cardistry and his power chords, is off at camp this week. 4 days, 3 nights too long. We’re missing him like crazy. And we saw the downside having your kids be best friends — who never fight and never tire of each other — as his little sister cried herself to sleep tonight, miserable with missing.

Went all over the city in trams and buses with this little girl recently and realized she’s absolutely no good on public transport — can’t balance on a moving vehicle, anticipate movement, get good seats… Guess she’ll have to hang out with me more. :-D

This little girl, with her lollipop smile and torn jeans, is off to overnight camp this morning. No tablets, no phones, nothing that talks to global positioning satellites. It’s Ike she’s going into the dark ages. Can’t deal on so many levels.
